As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I have had the pleasure of indulging in the exquisite dishes at Laut. From their delectable appetizers like Satay Chicken and Crispy Wontons to their flavorful Noodle Soups and signature Curries, every dish is a culinary masterpiece that tantalizes the taste buds.

One of the highlights at Laut is their Ultimate Curry Laksa Soup, a buzzfeed featured dish that is a must-try for any food enthusiast. The blend of flavors in this medium-spicy curry broth with cucumber, tofu puff, and Vietnamese mint is simply outstanding.

Another standout dish is the Famous Rendang Curry, a caramelized dry curry infused with exotic spices that was voted #1 on "CNN Your Pick: World's 50 Best Food" in 2017. The rich and savory flavors of this dish are truly unforgettable.

One of the most enjoyable restaurants in the city. The extremely respectful and polite staff combined with flavors you can’t get really anywhere else near by, I’m starting to consider booking a table every week. The tandoori chicken satay was truly out of this world. All the noodle dishes and ones served in pans have a nice little authentic fire taste. Dishes range with so many flavor profiles; acidic, spicy, savory, and sweet. The interior is warm with dim lighting giving you a sense of safety and comfort. Great for families and dates.

A must visit for some authentic Asian food experience.Came here for a dinner with a friend and the place was jam packed. Being a very small place the only qualm I have is the tables are small and really close to each other .Coming to the food , started with a Tandoori Satay and it was flavorful , perfectly grilled and the Indian tandoori flavor was really nice . I wish they provided a dip with that .The butter garlic came in next and was bursting with flavors of curry leaves and butter , the soft shell crab was delicious. For entree, we had the Nasi Lemak which is a Malaysian platter with a portion of Chicken Rendang, Shrimp , pickles and the best rice I’ve ever had thr Coconut rice . It was truly a filling meal and I’ve earmarked the rendang as something I’m ordering next time I’m here .We also had the Asam Laksa which is one of the most unique things I’ve had . The noodle soup is flavorful , Tangy , fishy but absolutely delicious if you love sardines. I would say if you like seafood and tangy food you can try this one .Overall a great meal and would definitely want to be back to try some more soon.

Delicious food every time I visit Laut! The flavors are consistently on point, with a perfect balance of spice and authenticity that keeps me coming back. It's worth the occasional splurge, especially for dinner, but their lunch specials are a fantastic way to sample their dishes without breaking the bank. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, making it ideal for anything from casual lunches to special nights out. Highly recommend trying their signature dishes—you won’t be disappointed!
